Not all cinnamon whiskey is created equal.

This is what we set out to make: a whiskey that tastes like it sounds. That delivers on the promise of the label. That you'd actually choose on a Friday night, not just on a dare.

This Is What Cinnamon Whiskey Was Always Supposed to Taste Like.

“That sharp, chemical heat. The red gum taste that coats your throat. The shot you took because someone handed it to you — not because you actually wanted it. Kentucky Flood is none of that.” - Sarah M.

We built this from the ground up to taste like the real thing — a warm, freshly baked cinnamon roll, with soft spice, a touch of sweet, and a smooth finish that doesn't make you wince. No acid burn. No artificial heat. No chaser required.

Ninety proof and proud of it. But you'd never know it from the pour

On the nose — Warm cinnamon, sweet pastry dough, vanilla glaze.

On the palate — Smooth spice, brown sugar, soft finish. No burn. No bite.

The finish — Lingering warmth. Clean. The kind that earns a second pour.

Real Cinnamon.

Real Taste.

The flavor you actually want from a cinnamon whiskey exists. It's been here the whole time.

Our Story

Kentucky Flood was founded to celebrate all things American whiskey.

Not one mash bill. Not one distillery. Not one tradition.

We believe American whiskey is one of this country's greatest art forms.

Every barrel tells a different story. Every grain bill offers a different palette. Every proof, every finish, every blend is another opportunity to create something that has never existed before. Tradition gives us the foundation. Curiosity gives us direction.

Too often, the industry mistakes repetition for craftsmanship.

We don't believe great whiskey is measured by how closely it resembles the last great bottle. We believe it is measured by the care, intention, and conviction behind every decision that brought it to life.

The Confection Series became our first canvas.

We looked at flavored whiskey and saw a category that had stopped asking difficult questions. We saw artificial heat replacing genuine flavor, familiar formulas replacing imagination, and labels promising experiences the whiskey rarely delivered.

So we painted a different picture.

Cinnamon Roll wasn't created to be another cinnamon whiskey. It was created to capture the comfort, warmth, and indulgence of a fresh cinnamon roll while honoring the whiskey beneath it. Rich. Full-flavored. High proof for the category. Built with the same care we'd give any other expression bearing the Kentucky Flood name.

The Confection Series is where many people will meet us.

It won't be the only gallery our work hangs in.

Because American whiskey is far too expansive to spend a lifetime repeating someone else's masterpiece.

We got tired of cinnamon whiskey that burned.

So we made one that doesn't.

This Is Not a Welcome Mat. It Is a Threshold.

Kentucky Flood exists to celebrate all things American whiskey through sourcing, blending, and curation without compromise. The uninitiated should wade carefully here. We do not hide behind the safety of one familiar profile.

Each release is a deliberate expression of what American whiskey can do when the levees break. This is where we live. Full proof. Full flavor. Uncut and unapologetic.
